2 Days In New York is the sequel to 2 Days In Paris. This
time, the people in Paris decide to visit their in laws in New York.
The movie opens with the uncle trying to smuggle in a bunch of
sausages past customs. The only thing he is left with is the
smell of sausages, poor dear. Then the movie focuses on how a group
of 4 or 5 extra people is supposed to cohabitate in an apartment
designed for 2 people. The movie is in French with English
subtitles. Three stars.
This movie ranks as having little or no violence because it has only
4 violent scenes, 2 of which are on screen. There is a story
of a war, a story of a fight, two women get into a cat fight and a
woman fights with a man. There is some smoking in this movie.
The previews include a violent commercial and two nonviolent
commercials, somewhat violent previews for Little White Lies and
Arbitrage and nonviolent previews for Chicken With Plums (with
smoking) and Sleepwalk With Me.
