Apollo 18 is a dark themed space adventure that chronicles the
fictional adventures of astronauts on the last manned mission by the
US to the moon. The last officially acknowledged mission to the moon
was Apollo 17 in 1972. This movie claims to show footage from
a top secret mission that took place in 1974 that went to the moon
to install communications equipment during the cold war. This is not
likely to be non-fiction since it is not explained how the cameras
with their film were transported back to Earth so we can see the
movie. The implication of the movie is that there is
extraterrestrial life on the moon, infecting moon rocks, which tend
to explode and infect human bodies. Two stars.
