Kevin Clash is the puppeteer behind the world famous Muppet and
Sesame Street character named Elmo. This documentary follows
the development of Kevin's career, starting in his childhood when he
started making puppets out of scraps of cloth. Kevin always dreamed
of working with Sesame Street and eventually realized his dream by
creating Elmo. The documentary is not all adult people talk.
There is some time for the kids to enjoy watching Elmo and other
Muppets do their stuff. Four stars.
This movie ranks as nonviolent because there are only 6 violent
scenes in the movie. These include: Elmo bites a cheese character,
there is a story about a child injured in an accident, there is a
story about a sick child helped by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, there
is a story about a sales clerk getting trampled, there is a story
about a woman getting beaten up by overenthusiastic shoppers trying
to get an Elmo doll and there is the story about Jim Henson dieing.
