Comedy/farce about a prison guard named Vince (Andy Garcia) who meets
his son from a previous relationship while working as a prison guard
where his son is incarcerated. Vince gets his son out on parole and
living with him while not revealing to his son or his current wife
Joyce (Julianna Margulies) the essential details of that farce. Vince
is also unbenownst to his wife studying to become an actor.
The climax of the movie is somewhat violent but only involves 3 violent
scenes, in one of which someone gets shot three times.
There are 6 violent scenes in all, which is less than in the movie
Arthur. Subpolts involve the daughter working as a stripper instead of
going to college like her parents think, and a young teen son having a
secret fettish over a 300 lb BBW who lives next door.
The previews had one somewhat violent preview for Get Low and non
violent previews for Solitary Man and Ondine.
