Review for Damsels In Distress PG-13 Comedy 1:39
by  John Thielking

Damsels In Distress is the story of life at a college that has Roman letters for fraternities full of morons that one coed insists on helping to achieve their full potential.  The coed runs a suicide prevention center on campus that gives donuts to depressed people and also teaches them tap dancing in an effort to lift their spirits. Will the coed succeed in starting a dance craze at the school or see her efforts fall flat? Tune in and find out. Three stars.

This movie ranks as nonviolent because it has only 6 violent scenes in it. These include: there is a story of suicides, a man falls over a railing, there are two more stories of suicides and suicide attempts, a man jumps from a second floor balcony and there is a story of deaths at a fraternity.

The previews include nonviolent previews for Lola Versus, The Intouchables and Girl In Progress and a somewhat violent preview for Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World.
