The Wildest Dream: Conquest of
Everest 1:34 PG Documentary
This documentary looks at George Mallory's 1924 attempt to climb Mt.
Everest and goes into great detail about his life and attempts to climb
Everest from 1915 to the time of his dissapearance in his last attempt
to climb Everest in 1924. Three stars.
This movie is iffy because it has 12 scenes or stories of violence and
violent ends to people's lives as they attempt to climb Mt. Everest:
There is a story of climbers who died climbing Everest, there is a
scene of finding George Mallory's body, there is a reinactment of
Mallory's death, there is a story of a man who dies trying to reach the
South Pole, there is a scene from WWI, there is film of an
avalanche that kills 7 men, there is a story of another avalanche
fatality, it is said that over 200 people have died trying to climb
Everest, there is a painting of gods dismembering a western climber,
there is a story of burying dead people in base camp, there is a story
of another man who dies from a blood clot and a man finds a dead body
on the path up Mt. Everest.
