Based on a true story, Farwell is an espionage film that details the
spying done by two Russians on behalf of the Americans around 1981. The
movie is in French with English subtitles.
There are ten violent scenes in this movie, some of which are very mild
or the telling of a violent story, this even
though the plot centers around the torture and execution of spies by
the KGB. There is a gun fight on TV, a poem about
a wolf being hunted and killed, a father gets into a fight with his
son, another gun fight on TV, a man jumps out of a
window, though the final result is not shown, there are signs that a
prisoner is being tortured, including two scenes
of sleep deprivation of a prisoner in his cell, the KGB is seen rifling
through an apartment and one of the prisoners gets
executed (off screen).
The previews include a violent preview for Lebanon, a somewhat violent
preview for Get Low and a non-violent preview for
Soul Kitchen.
