Review for Hope Springs PG-13
Romantic Comedy 1:40
by John Thielking
8-13-12
Hope Springs chronicles a brief passage in the lives of an older
couple named Kay (Meryl Streep) and Arnold (Tommy Lee Jones).
One day Kay decides that she want's more spice in their lives (as in
sex) and so she signs them both up for marriage counseling with the
famous Dr Feld (Steve Carell). At first, the biggest challenge
is just getting the pair to sleep in the same room. Will they
succeed in spicing up their marriage, or will it all end in divorce?
Tune in and find out. Four stars.
There is no violence in this movie. None. Period. Whew!
