This comedy stars a high flying executive working mother named Kate
Reddy (Sarah Jessica Parker) who is busy balancing working and
family life. Things only get more complex when she has the
opportunity to land a new account by working longer hours at the
financial services firm that she works at at the same time as her
husband Richard (Greg Kinnear) is also getting ahead at his job and
working longer hours. Pierce Brosnan stars as a deal maker at the
firm and possible love interest of Kate's named Jack Abelhammer.
This movie sounded like it would be a sleeper (and some review sites
give it bad reviews), but the author and a few of the audience
members found it actually exciting, without a need for the main
characters to shoot up everything and drive through the city streets
at 3 times the speed limit to keep us on the edges of our seats.
