A personal toll free number (also referred to as an 800 number) is a service where the person receiving the call pays for the call, rather than the caller. This allows children in college, family or friends to call you at no cost to them. This is a cost effective alternative to calling cards, pay phones or calling collect. Note - Currently, any phone number beginning with 800, 888, 877 or 866 is a toll free number.

The Kall8 service includes voicemail and instant call fowarding to any number that you choose.

Toll Free # Features:  
*  6.9 cents per minute for calls originating in the lower 48 states and most of Canada (25 cents per minute for AK, HI, etc).
*  Toll free # calls can be forwarded to your home phone, office phone, cell phone or let voicemail answer all calls.  Call forwarding can be changed instantly by accessing the Kall8 website.
*  All features except message recording are accessed via the web site and e-mail.

Voicemail Features:  
* Greeting length: 3 minutes
* Message length: 3 minutes
* Mailbox capacity: Unlimited (up to credit limit on account)
* Message retention:  Messages are sent to account holder's e-mail account and are maintained on the Kall8 web server for three weeks.
* Message access:  Messages can only be retrieved by loging into account holder's e-mail account and downloading *.wav files (these play automatically when downloading via AOL 8.0)

Other Features Available:
* Conference calling.  (Up to 10 people may be in on a single conference call at a rate of 6.9 cents per minute for each caller.)
