Life During Wartime NR 1:36
Comedy/Drama
Different groups of people try to find a place for themselves in a
challenging world. Issues of perversion, pedophilia and suicide
permiate this movie as the people try to get on with their lives.
Three stars.
There are 8 scenes of violence in this movie: A waitress spits in a
man's face, a boy asks about what do pedophiles do to people who they
rape, a woman threatens the ghost of her past boyfriend with a heavy
object, there is a scene showing the aftermath of a suicide, there is
talk of forgiving and forgetting terrorism, a story of a father
punching out a mother, a ghost of a dead boyfriend asks a woman to kill
herself and a kid gets scared when his mom's boyfriend tries to give
him a hug (the mother had previously advised him that any form of
touching was pedophilia).
