by  John Thielking

In this non-violent movie from Bollywood, the Indian brother named Kush (Imran Khan) of a London based man named Luv from India (Ali Zafar) falls in love with his brother's would be wife named Dimple (Katrina Kaif).  Luv has his own ups and downs trying to figure out if he still loves and wants to marry his ex girlfriend of a five year relationship. The movie focuses on the young couples' struggles to get the people they really want to marry them while not upsetting the mores of the middle class Indian families. There are a few musical and dancing sequences thrown in to round out the movie. 3 stars.

The movie ranks as non-violent because there are only 8 scenes of mild violence in the movie.  These include: a woman breaks a TV, there is a couple arguing, a kid shoots a toy gun, there is a story about a brother getting his ribs broken, there is another couple fighting, a car accident followed by an argument, a woman slaps a man and a woman threatens to shoot a man.

The previews included: A violent preview for Ra-One, somewhat violent previews for Bol and Rascals and non-violent previews for Mausam and Rockstar.
