Rockstar is a Hindi romantic comedy out of Bollywood about a wannabe
rockstar named Jordan, Indian name Janardhan Jakhar (Ranbir Kapoor),
who is having trouble playing inspirational music because he has
never had his heart broken. To fix this problem, he tries getting
rejected during a pickup attempt, wooing a young lady named Heer
Kaul (Nargis Fakhri). Heer soon turns the tables on Jordan,
however, turning a bogus pickup line into a real relationship
(somehow). Will Jordan continue his meteoric career as a
rockstar or will it be interrupted by Heer's illness and her various
trips to the hospital? It seems that she just can't live without
Jordan, literally. The movie is in Hindi and English with English
subtitles. Four stars.
