Review for The Salt Of Life NR
Romantic Comedy 1:30
by John Thielking

The Salt Of Life chronicles a brief part of the life of an old man
named Gianni (Gianni Di Gregorio) who is busy doing chores for his
wife, his daughter and his cute neighbor, but never thinks of
romance until his friend Alfonso (Alfonso Santagata) suggests that
he pick up the pace a little. The movie dodges around various
possible love scenarios for Gianni, but never really gets its feet
off the ground. In Italian with English subtitles. Three stars.
This movie had only one violent scene: a minor fender bender car
accident.
There were no previews when this movie was shown at the Camera 3 in
San Jose, CA.
