Review for Seven Days In Utopia G 1:39
by  John Thielking
9-6-2011

Seven Days In Utopia is a drama that focuses on one man's trip to a town called Utopia where he has the opportunity to brush up on his golf game with the aid of a washed up pro golfer and then has a shot at playing in the Texas Open.  The movie is simillar to Tin Cup, but is a little more violent.  Three stars.

The movie ranks as "non-violent" because there are only 8 violent scenes in it and no dead bodies. The violence consists of:  a man throws his cell phone out of the window of his car, there is a car crash, a man smashes his golf clubs into the car's windows, a man breaks a golf club in two, a man catches a fish, a man falls into the water after caching a fish, bulls chase cowboys in the rink and there are bulls chasing cowboys while they try to play poker.

The previews included: somewhat violent previews for Johnny English and The Muppets and non-violent previews for Dolphin Tale and Alvin and The Chipmunks Chipwrecked.
