Review for Solitary Man
by  John Thielking

Solitary Man   R   Drama/Comedy

Michael Douglass, still looking like his old nemisis from The Streets of San Francisco, plays a washed up 60 year old car dealer who is trying to get back in the game both personally and professionally, but no one is having anything of it. Michael's character seduces various of his family friends who are barely legal and tries to start another car dealership. Two stars.

There are only 2 violent scenes in this movie.  There is one fist fight with no injuries, but later on there is a more serious encounter that lands the victim in the hospital.

Previews included a somewhat violent preview for Get Low, somewhat violent preview for Winter's Bone, and non-violent previews for The American and The Kids Are Alright.
