Pradhuman Singh plays a chicken farmer who is also an Osama Bin Laden
look alike who is discovered by an ambitious small time tv news
reporter from Pakistan played by Bollywood star Ali Zafar. Ali is
having trouble getting his Visa approved so that he can come to the US,
so he cooks up a crazy scheme to make a fake Osama Bin Laden video that
he can sell to his media contact for a cool million to fund the
creation of a fake passport. The tape gets sold and soon makes
the rounds of all of the news outlets worldwide. This gets the
attention of the American authorities and they soon send someone to
track down the fake Bin Laden, who everyone thinks is real. The movie
is in Hindi with English subtitles. Four stars.
This movie is iffy because it has 15 violent scenes in it including: A
man weilding a knife gets attacked, a man is throwing things out of a
window onto the crowd below, a man grabs another man by the neck, a
woman cuts a man's face with some scissors, there is a story of a man
getting shot, followed by a scene where a man gets shot at, a man gets
thrown out of a barber shop, a bird flies up and hits a man in the
nuts, a man trips and smashes a mirror, the US begins to bomb
Afghanistan, there is shooting of guns on a tv screen, there is a
scuffle between men while an announcer talks about missiles being fired
in the background, a rooster gets blown up by a bomb, guns are fired to
open a lock and a missile blows up a bus.
The previews include: non violent previews for Peepli Live and We Are
Family and at intermission there was a violent preview for Dabaang
