The Descendants is a comedic look at the life of a Hawaiian native
(George Clooney) who has to decide what to do with a land trust that
he inherited. According to his best interpretation of the law, he
has no more than 7 years to sell his family's land and divide up the
proceeds among his closest relatives. During this process, his
wife has a boating accident and is laying in a coma in the
hospital. Clooney's character finds out that his wife had an
affair and seeks to track down the man responsible for ruining his
wife's memory. Four stars.
The movie ranks as nonviolent because it has only six violent
scenes. These include: a story of a boating accident, a story
of bullying, a man punches a kid, a man threatens a kid, there is a
story about a guy's nuts being beaten and there is a story of a
drunk driving accident.

Honey, a somewhat violent preview for Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy and
nonviolent previews for The Artist and The Young Adult.
