The Tillman Story R 1:34
Documentary
The NFL legend Pat Tillman gave up a multimillion dollar contract to
enlist in the Army following the Sep 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. This
documentary explores the process of how the actual circumstanes of Pat
Tillman's death came to light following a friendly fire incident in
Afghanistan in 2004. Pat's wife and his mother and brother are
featured and give their accounts. Testimony before Congress is
also featured. 4 stars.
This movie has surprisingly little violence on screen considering that
it is a war movie. The five violent scenes include: some
explosions and shootings on tv, more explosions on tv, violent football
plays, a video of a city being bombed and a graphic description of Pat
Tillman's death.
The previews include: non violent previews for Conviction, Waiting For
Superman, The Social Network, Catfish and The Company Men.
