Review for Where Do We Go Now? PG-13 Drama 1:40

Where Do We Go Now? chronicles the lives of Christians and Muslims living together in a dessert town in some Islamic country.  The people hear of ethnic strife on the news and they look at each other and wonder "are we next?"  At one point one of the young men is killed when he visits a neighboring village and his mother covers this up for awhile to prevent a bloodbath in the village. In Arabic and Russian with English subtitles. Three stars.

This movie ranks as iffy because it has a total of 14 violent scenes in it. These include: there is a story of a war ravaged country, there is a story of a riot on TV, there are more stories of riots on TV, there is a story of a riot in the newspaper, a man falls off a ladder, a man smashes figurines, a man threatens a child, there is a story of warfare, the engine of a bus has a minor explosion, two groups of men get into a brawl, a young man is dead from a bullet wound, a group of men get into a brawl, a woman shoots a man in the foot and there is a story of impending violence.

The previews include: a violent commercial and nonviolent previews for Peace, Love and Misunderstanding, Bel Ami and I Wish.
