Drama/Romantic Comedy
A dentist named Marguerite Muir (Sabine Azema) and a married man named
Georges Palet (Andre Dussollier) get involved in an unusual way.
Marguerite's purse is snatched and Georges
finds her wallet a short time later. Georges returns the wallet through
the police, but Georges and Marguerite end up stalking each other all
the while claiming that they want to be left alone. The movie is in
French with English subtitles. Four stars.
The 7 scenes of violence in this movie are pretty tame, most of the
actual gore occurring off screen or in people's
imaginations. The purse is snatched of course, and Georges thinks about
killing two women, then fantasizes
about killing a cop, Georges slashes the woman's tires, then tells a
story about a pilot being shot down,
then there are a couple of small plane crashes, one of which occurs off
screen.
The previews included a somewhat violent preview for Get Low, violent
previews for Lebanon and Agora and a non-violent preview for Cairo Time.
